Degree Overview

The Associate of Arts in Accounting provides the foundation of an accounting career with core courses in financial accounting, managerial accountingÌýand individual taxation. In addition, courses in computerized accounting and Excel will assist with the technology required for an accounting career. You are also provided course options to enhance knowledge in other accounting and business fields.ÌýThis degree serves as a base for further study in a four-year program or prepares graduates to more quickly enter the workforce.

You will be able to apply major concepts in the functional areas of accounting including financial, managerial and tax and will apply decision-support tools to business and accounting decision-making.
